Being well is directly connected with well-being and this refers to the condition of a balance between our physical and mental health, especially when we maintain a proper diet, exercise and habits. Nutrition refers to the nutrition of our body, in our ability to keep it healthy and functioning as we are supposed to. Our ability to provide the body with all the necessary food, vitamins and minerals so that we can continue to thrive in our daily life processes.
How can we perceive it?
The first thing we should do is take a pencil and paper, let me give you a minute, go for it and let's start writing. Ok, are you back? Well, the first thing we will do is a list of all our healthy habits. Since we are a product of what we eat, if our eating habits are not healthy or do not provide the nutrition we need, we will not be healthy people at the end of the process. We are going to ask ourselves questions such as. Do you consume more calories than your body needs? Are you supplementing your vitamins and minerals to ensure you are getting the recommended daily amounts? Are you drinking enough water that your body needs? If you are not making the most basic efforts to meet your nutritional needs, we are unconsciously not going to feel good. He may not appear ill, on the outside he may not have any noticeable symptoms of ill health, but he is not the healthy person he could become.
After answering all these questions, we are going to analyze our exercise habits and see if they are enough for what our body needs. In the event that there are no exercise routines to examine, I assure you there will be no wellness either. Everyone, regardless of our age, benefits in different ways from physical activity. It keeps our bodies conditioned, our mental acuity working at maximum speed, and thanks to our physical appearance, by feeling more energetic we will get a boost to our cardiovascular health, a greater amount of calories burned and more oxygen for those cells.
What about the stress levels in our lives?
To have a clearer answer at this point you should write things such as Are you comfortable in your workplace or do you work in an environment that raises your stress levels? Is your personal life a source of comfort from others that absorbs problems every day and therefore increases your stress levels? Are you comfortable with the circle of friends and people around you? Get enough sleep? Do you do any form of activity to relieve stress? Stress is basically a situation out of control for most of today's adults, that's why many times we think that our best stage was being a child and that the dumbest wish was to grow up, since they live free and happy, without guilt. , without evil and without resentment for anything or anyone.
Unfortunately, high levels of stress lead us to two issues that negatively affect us if we want to look and feel healthy. Smoking and drinking have become for many a tool to compensate for the effect that stress has on our nervous system. However, these solutions do not provide any real help. Many may comment that this calms them down and helps them with anxiety, but unfortunately it is not like that, they only generate a momentary calm effect, but the rebound effect is even worse, I know they are very addictive vices because I still look for a exit to all my problems, but let me tell you that if I could leave you, I assure you that you will still be able to do it.
If you smoke, drink, or lose sleep excessively, you are not the healthy person you could be. Smoking, drinking and losing sleep are to our detriment, they work to keep us tired and lethargic, plus we are going to stink like the ostia. There are so many occasions to stop and question our efforts to maintain optimal health, that we usually don't even take the time to start with the first step that I leave at the beginning of this article, you may have already forgotten what it was, but I know that we do. my words manage to change only one person I will have already begun to break that vicious circle and that person will expand this for another and another and so little by little, all together we are going to generate a change that we are going to feel very happy about.
Remember, together we can do everything, let's help each other and share healthy habits and thoughts and so every day we will be more and more people who ever decided to change their lives.
It takes extreme discipline to stop doing it, that's what I'm here for if you want support.
